Stories and highlights

There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

Schoolchildren in red uniforms hold colorful vertical banners reading resilience, organisation, confidence, getting along, and persistence outside a school building.

The You Can Do It program is a big success at Boggabri Public School and is now part of all K-6 classes.

The program focuses on five important skills for success and happiness:

  • Resilience – bouncing back from challenges
  • Confidence – believing in yourself
  • Organisation – staying prepared and on track
  • Getting Along – working well with others
  • Persistence – never giving up

Each flag represents one of these keys, reminding students to keep growing and achieving.

Our students proudly take part in  Operation Art, a statewide visual arts program and exhibition for students in NSW. At our school's open night, students showcase their artwork for the community, who then vote for their favourite pieces. This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity for students and families to celebrate creativity and artistic talent together.

'Stars of Boggabri' shine at concert, reports the Gunnedah Times.

All Students enjoyed performing in front of family and friends at the end-of-year showcase.

Children wearing star-themed outfits and face paint stand on a stage in front of a “Boggabri Public School Song” sign.
Six girls in school sports uniforms stand arm in arm on a sunny sports field after a game.
Our students participate in annual sporting competitions across the region in the Representative School Sport Pathway, NSW PSSA Knockout Competitions, Sporting Gala Days.

“We are grateful to Boggabri Public School for providing our child with the opportunity to develop and grow under the guidance of dedicated teachers. The supportive and countless opportunities have truly made a positive impact on our child’s primary school journey”.

- Corrina Thomson, former parent of Boggabri Public School.
